I believe that we should always try to be the best version of ourselves. I am not perfect. I don’t expect anyone else to be either. Having said that, it is important to me to be a loving, caring and involved member of society.

Lois Milare

My History;

I have been doing hair for a little more than 43 years. I have been an educator and trainer for companies including Framesi, Joico, Sébastian, Loŕeal, and Davines. However, for the last several years I have had my own space. Pre Covid I was doing at least 2 photoshoots per year for my own creativity. Using my clients as my muses. As for education these days I am constantly pursuing knowledge through YouTube.

My Story;

I am dedicated to my clients and my craft. My goal is to create a look that best suits my clients’ needs.

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and dog mom. I swim, hike, garden and work on my home.

I am a breast cancer survivor. I volunteer at the Oregon Humane Society walking dogs each week.

I am a work in progress.

Over the years, I have been to, participated in, and taught hundreds of classes and seminars.

The vast majority of my clientele is haircolor. Whether it is basic all over base retouch. gray coverage, creating natural looking blended highlights and lowlights throughout gray hair giving the hair a less gray or blonde effect. Balayage and sun-kissed highlights on long hair or bold vibrant party colors. I am a master colorist. I love creating the whole picture. I have train extensively in haircuttting techniques so I am able to create the perfect style for you.

They use MyLois as a term of endearment when referring to me, the owner of the salon, and I love it! The relationships I have built with my clients and my lifelong passion for hairdressing are the foundations of my business. With over 40 years of experience within the hairdressing industry, including previous work experiences at major manufacturers, including Framesi Loreal Sebastian and Joico, there’s nothing I can’t do. Everyone here at MyLois, including clients, is one enormous family! I have served multiple generations of the same family.
